Microfilm (MF Roll # 36102) of ledger of various accounts kept by S. C. Abbott of Clifton Plantation, Holmes County, and Xerox copies of family letters; a printed Circular of Instructions from L. C. Abbott, Chief Supervisor of Northern District, to Supervisors of Election, dated October 4, 1872, Holly Springs; a letter to Judge Abbott from Kinloch Falconer; statement of settlement between M. Waters and S. C. Abbott; agreement between M. Waters and S. C. Abbott dated February 1, 1882; cotton sales sheets from J. B. Lallande, Cotton Factor, New Orleans, Louisiana, and a diary from January and February, 1899. There are two inventories of the personal property on the plantation, one dated May 1, 1876, and the other dated February 1, 1882. Of particular interest are the individual accounts of goods furnished tenants and the statements of the crops gathered.
