Z 1097.000 Lenoir (Dorothy) Collection

Dorothy Lenoir was director of the Placement Bureau, University of Southern Mississippi, from 1948 until her retirement in 1963. This collection includes commendatory letters she received while director, as well as correspondence from Dr. H. M. Ivy, superintendent of Meridian Public Schools, and later executive director of Associated Consultants in Education, Inc. In 1960 and 1961, Lenoir was on the State Education Study Committee and correspondence and papers relative to this committee are also in this collection.
