Typed carbon copy of the manuscript "A Discourse of Domestic Missions, Delivered at Vicksburg, October 24, 1838, before the Synod of Mississippi and Louisiana by the Rev. John B. Warren of Louisiana," 15 pages. Rev. Warren, a Congregationalist minister educated at Harvard, published the New Orleans Protestant. He was born in Hampden, Massachusetts, in 1794, and died in New Orleans, Louisiana, in 1846.
