James W. Collier (1872–1933) was U. S. Representative from Mississippi from 1908 until his death, September 28, 1933. Both of these letters are signed by E. M. Cox, secretary to Collier, and both concern Collier's support of H. R. 7230, which provided increased pensions for widows and orphans of veterans.
