Lucy Hayes Young was the last surviving granddaughter of Jefferson Davis. This small collection contains three photographs of Mrs. Young with her daughter and granddaughter and six newspaper clippings concerning Mrs. Young, her family and her relation to Jefferson and Varina Davis. The articles and two photographs are by Roberta Etheridge Allen, Little Rock, Arkansas. Also included is a short genealogical chart of Mrs. Young's descendants compiled by Mrs. Allen.
