Z 1200.000 Tishomingo County, Mississippi, History Scrapbook

This scrapbook, which was deposited in the Alcorn County Chancery Clerk's office by the compiler, Herman J. Madden, contains newspaper clippings and other historical information. Mr. Madden, Chancery Clerk from 1948 to 1959, compiled the book and placed it among the Chancery Clerk Records to remain as an official document.

Included in the scrapbook is the "History of Old Tishomingo" as published in the Corinth Herald, Corinth, Mississippi, 1903; a Sanders family sketch; county military records of the Civil War, World War I and II and the Korean War. Also there is a Corinth city directory, 1875–1876.
