Z 1262.000 Rorer (W. A.) Letters

Typed transcription of the personal correspondence of Colonel W. A. Rorer to his cousin, Susan, from September 30, 1859, to June 8, 1864. Rorer was a member of Company E, 20 Mississippi Infantry, CSA. The letters were written largely from camps in Northern Mississippi, where he discussed the politics of the period and military affairs. The original letters belong to the Duke University Library in Durham, North Carolina.
