1. a daily journal dating from 18451854 (16 pp.), which also contains a chart of pay given for picking cotton
2. a mathematics workbook (88 pp.)
3. an accounts ledger for 1877 with an index (52 pp.)
4. various "recipes" including ones for carbuncle cancer, heart dropsy, dirt eating dropsy, bladder dropsy and one termed a silent assistant being a certain cure for drunkenness
