NATIONAL SOCIETY OF THE COLONIAL DAMES OF MISSISSIPPI COLLECTION
The National Society of the Colonial Dames of America in the State of Mississippi was incorporated on April 6, 1900, with its charter being approved by Governor A. H. Longino and Attorney General Monroe McClurg. The objects of this Society are to collect and preserve manuscripts, traditions, relics and mementos of bygone days; to preserve and restore buildings connected with the early history of our country, and to impress upon the young the sacred obligation of honoring the memory of those heroic ancestors whose ability, valor, suffering, and achievements are beyond all praises. This collection contains:
