ST. ANDREW'S EPISCOPAL CHURCH RECORDS
St. Andrew's Episcopal Church was organized in 1844. The first church built by this congregation was at the Southeast corner of President and Amite Streets. It was destroyed during the Civil War in 1862. The second church was built in 1869, on the Southeast corner of Capitol and South Congress Streets. The present building was dedicated in 1917.
