Z 1677.000 Pleasant Hill Baptist Church (Tippah County, Miss.) Records

Though the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church may have been organized as early as 1846, it was not received into the Chickasaw Baptist Association until 1852. It was one of several churches which were dismissed from the Association in 1860 to form the Tippah Baptist Association, and it went into the Tippah County Baptist Association when that Association was organized in 1921.

The volume includes the church constitution, the rules of decorum, minutes of church conferences and membership rolls beginning in 1886. Loose pages were filmed in order in which they appeared; blank pages were not filmed.
