Z 1698.000 Bulkley (Lucy Estelle) Scrapbook

This scrapbook, compiled by Lucy Bulkley, contains a miscellany of clippings, engravings, papers and cartes-de-visite. The major subject covered is the Civil War, although anecdotes, poems, stories and trivia are well represented. There are several cartes-de-visite of famous Confederates and Southern politicians.

Items in the scrapbook suggest that at one time Bulkley lived in Columbus, Georgia. Other items suggest that she was living in Jackson, Mississippi by 1870.
