Scope and Content Note:
Letters and papers of Judge Oscar Bomar Taylor, attorney, of Jackson, Mississippi. Judge Taylor, a native of Winona, Montgomery County, was chairman of the Board of Directors of the Mississippi Valley Title Insurance Company, Jackson, was a former vice-president of the Merchants Bank and Trust Company, Jackson, and was a former judge of the Chancery Court. Most of the correspondence concerns business matters and the temperance movement, in which Judge Taylor was a leader.
