Eight bonds with coupons issued by the Confederate States of America, dated April 12, 1862 - April 30, 1863.
Letters from former members of the Confederate cabinet (1873–1866), including C. G. Memminger.
Letter from Davis to Paul H. Hayne, January 25, 1885.
Letter from Davis to Z. T. Wood, May 26, 1886.
Letters to Mrs. Davis, Mrs. Hayes and Miss Hayes are as follows:
Twenty-six items from 1890-1898, including letters from L. B. Northrop, Thomas Nelson Page, Alexander Stephens, J. B. Gordon, and Stephen D. Lee.
Twenty-eight items from 1899-1904, including letters from Charles Dudley Warner, Wade Hampton, S. D. Lee, Joseph Pulitzer, and Fitzhugh Lee.
Fifteen items from 1904-1910, including letters from James K. Vardaman, Stephen D. Lee, Ambrose Lee, Theodore Roosevelt, and William Jennings Bryan.
The volume is an autograph album containing autographs of the Confederate cabinet and of U.S. officials.
