Scope and Content Note:

This collection is an accretion to the John C. Burrus Papers and, like the first collection, contains the family, business, legal, and political correspondence of John C. Burrus of Hollywood Plantation, Benoit, Bolivar County.

A large portion of the collection is undated. The dated correspondence has been filed chronologically. Aside from the general correspondence, the remainder of the collection has been processed into the following groups:
