Dates: 1855; 1859 - 1884; 1910 - 1935.

Patrick Henry served in the Confederate Army, the Mississippi Legislature, in the Mississippi Constitutional Convention of 1890, and the United States House of Representatives from 1897–1901. The collection contains speeches, correspondence, and miscellaneous papers of Patrick Henry and family. Most of the papers are political and patriotic speeches of Henry. Two letters (May 12, 1926 and May 13, 1929) are from Patrick Henry, Jr., Monticello, Arkansas, who was circuit judge of the Tenth Judicial District of Arkansas, who was circuit judge of the Tenth Judicial District of Arkansas. Two letters (May 11 and 17, 1935) are from Mrs. Patrick Henry, Jr., and pertain to the death of her husband.
