Vestrymen of St. Philip's Church at the time of its organization, April 24, 1848, were W. McWillie, Wm. Hemingway, E. H. Anderson, Adam McWillie, H. Pomeroy, C. Anderson, Thos. S. Anderson, Wm. Cleveland. The Parish Register contains list of rectors, historical sketch, and articles of association of the Parish, as well as a list of communicants, baptisms, marriages, confirmations, and funerals. The Register contains a separate listing of colored communicants, baptisms, marriages, confirmations, and funerals.
