Moore, of Marshall County, who served as a private and as a third lieutenant in Company G (Confederate Guards), Seventeenth Regiment of Mississippi Infantry, C.S.A. Moore was stationed at various times in Mississippi, Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, but saw some of his service in Virginia. The manuscript contains 100 pages.
