Scope and Content Note:

This collection is composed of letters written to Madel Jacobs (Mrs. Adlia) Morgan, of Jackson, by her brothers.  She received thirty letters from Captain Charles Clark Jacobs (March 10, 1942 - January. 29, 1946) and twelve letters from Private First Class Fred Clark Jacobs (September 15, 1943 - December 14, 1945), who served during World War II in the Marine Corps and were in the combat zones in the Pacific. The letter dated December 13, 1897, is from Mrs. Morgan's father, Charles Clark Jacobs, and was written from British Columbia.

Series 1: Correspondence, Captain Charles Clark Jacobs. 1942-1946.

Madel Jacobs Morgan received thirty letters from Captain Charles Clark Jacobs (March 10, 1942 - January. 29, 1946) who served during World War II in the Marine Corps and was in the combat zones in the Pacific.
