Organized in 1840 by Reverend William A. Gray. First Session minutes dated October 1842. List of communicants dated April 1845, and list of members dated 1857. Lists of adult and infant baptisms and list of deaths, undated. Referred to later as "Old" Lebanon Church. On Page 157 there is a list of pastors, 1840–1948. Roll No. 2 is record of legal action regarding the land owned by the church, and rights to use a spring, which was evidently the cause of the action.
