History:

Trinity Episcopal Church Parish (Pass Christian, Miss.)

The Trinity Episcopal Church Parish was organized in 1848, and the church was built in 1850. That structure and all of the parish buildings were completely destroyed by Hurricane Camille in August, 1969. The records of the parish on this microfilm were located after the hurricane, completely water-soaked, and covered with sand and mud. After drying and cleaning, the records were microfilmed by the Department of Archives and History, and the original material was returned to Pass Christian.
