Biography:
Craddock Goins
Craddock Goins (1895-1970), a native of Atlanta, Georgia. Goins moved to Mississippi on August 13, 1926, becoming a staff writer for the Jackson Daily News. During his career in journalism, he contributed to Holland's Magazine, New South Magazine, Real America, American Mercury, New York Times Magazine, National Historical Magazine, and newspapers in Atlanta, Memphis, St. Louis, Chicago, Milwaukee, Texas and Mississippi.
Scope and Content Note:
Correspondence, manuscripts of short stories, and copies of news releases by Craddock Goins (1895-1970). The correspondence is filed alphabetically. All published works were cataloged into the book collection of this Department.
