Scope and Content Note:
This addition to the Kimbrough papers mostly deals with Mary Hunter Southworth Kimbrough, through whose efforts established Beauvoir as a Mississippi heritage. Her efforts were able to get the Sons of Confederate Veterans to purchase Beauvoir for Mississippi. She was also a prominent member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy.
