The objectives of the Mississippi State Hospital Association are: to promote the welfare of the people of Mississippi by the furthering of efficiency and economy in the institutional care and management of hospitals in the state; to improve the service rendered to patients by such institutions; and to secure the cooperation of other organizations having similar objectives with a view to coordination of effort. This collection contains eleven volumes entitled Transactions of the Mississippi State Hospital Association, 1932–1941. Also included is one volume entitled Transactions of the Southeastern Hospital Conference, 1940.
