These miscellaneous manuscripts are arranged alphabetically by last name of sender (for correspondence), recipient (if sender is unknown), author (for speeches) and, if legal document such as deed or receipt, by last name of assignee. The bulk of these items are correspondence although there are numerous legal documents, such as deeds. The items are primarily one or two item donations and have not been considered to have significant research value to stand alone as a collection.
