Raymond Baptist Church (Raymond, Miss.)

According to A History of Raymond Baptist Church, Raymond, Miss. (1978), fragmentary records indicate that the church was organized in 1830. It was formally constituted in 1844, the year in which it joined the Union Baptist Association. The church was represented at the organization of the Central Baptist Association in 1845 and of the Hinds County Baptist Association in 1920. In 1968 the association became the Hinds-Madison Association.

This collection consists of one volume containing church conference minutes (indexed by name), church covenant, bylaws and miscellaneous loose material.
