Pamphlet as described by the title. A table showing the number of colonists sent to Liberia from the United States for the years 1820 through 1866, including the names of the ships that carried them, appears in the appendix. A recapitulation at the end of the table indicates that a total of 13,136 colonists from twenty-six states, Barbados, and the Indian Nation immigrated during that period. The largest number (3,733) came from Virginia. Mississippi contributed 551.
