Anti-slavery sermon with a call to action in four ways: 1) refusing to support slavery either directly or indirectly, 2) using constitutional and lawful measures to mitigate the evils of slavery, 3) opposing attempts by the Southern states to extend slavery beyond its present limits, and 4) blocking the recapture of fugitive slaves in Northern states.
