Sara Emma McAlister
Sara Emma McAlister, daughter of W. A. and Emma Smith McAlister, was born in Tippah County, Mississippi, on September 24, 1912. She was a music teacher in the Tchula public schools of Holmes County, Mississippi, from around 1935 to at least 1945. McAlister later moved to Ripley, Tippah County, where she taught piano until 1982. She was also a member of the Ripley United Methodist Church. McAlister died on April 30, 1985, and was interred at Pinecrest Cemetery in Tchula.

F. J. Harris was born in Mississippi on August 16, 1846. He was probably Felix J. Harris, son of John and Onie Adaline Harris of Tippah County, Mississippi. The Harris family, including children Cornelius L. (b. ca. 1841), Caroline E. (b. ca. 1844), Susan A. (b. ca. 1846), Mary A. (b. ca. 1849), and Samuel (b. ca. 1852), resided in Tippah County and were engaged in farming.

Francis (Frank) E. Sutter
Francis (Frank) E. Sutter was born on March 28, 1866. He was the son of Frederick and Jane Kilty Sutter of Pass Christian, Harrison County, Mississippi. The Sutter family also included siblings Mary (b. ca. 1855), Nannie C. (b. ca. 1860), Frederick, Jr. (b. ca. 1862), and John (b. ca. 1870). Frederick Sutter, Sr., was employed as a carpenter.
